The imagery shown here was created during my time working with Bashian Rug, using rugs that were being sold through Bloomingdale’s.
This collage was built in real time, in person, by hand, directly on the floor. I styled, arranged, composed, and photographed the setup myself, using the rugs as both product and design material. The final image was created to show texture, pattern, color, and collection range in a more editorial and visually engaging way than a standard product photo.
The concept was well received by both Bashian Rug and Bloomingdale’s, and it developed into a larger series of rug collage images used to showcase multiple designs together with a strong visual identity.
